THE KILMACOLM & PORT GLASGOW 189th  SHOW
Saturday 11th May 2024

A great day out for the whole family!

We're back! 11th May 2024
Please see showfield map for exciting new layout due to tree planting!

Established in 1835, the annual show is a fantastic day out for all ages.

You can watch the cattle, sheep, Clydesdale horses and dogs competing in their rings, see the horses jumping and showing, and visit the Industrial Tent to view the entries in the baking, arts and crafts classes.

There is a range of entertainment featuring heavy horses, vintage tractors, a pipe band and dancers.

The Knapps Experience will allow you to experience and learn about animals, plants, the countryside and local heritage.

Compete for free in our hobby horse races! Ten majestic hobby horses are gearing up for a historic event: The Kilmacolm Hobby Horse National. Are you ready to take the reins and race around the main ring on show day? Hobby Horses will be provided or you can bring your own. Enter at the secretary's tent. Age categories: 4 and under, 5-8, 9-11, 12-15, and possibly more! Races at 12:30 PM and 3:15 PM. See you at the starting line!

Pick up a free Treasure Hunt sheet and pencil at the entry gate - follow the clues and drop off your completed sheet at the Knapps Experience to be in with a chance of winning a family pass for a Farm Trailer Tour with Kilmacolm Farm Tours.

There are plenty of trade stands to browse featuring food, drinks, crafts, funfair rides and more…
