The Knapps 2020 Challenge - Scarecrow Competition

Open to families, groups, schools and organisations. Vote for your favourite on the day!

The Challenge

The scarecrow should be a super design, it can promote your family/group/school/organisation and will be judged on appearance, stability (it should stand up to the weather on the day!) and be fit for purpose.

Scarecrows should be erected by 10am on showday morning and dismantled by 4pm - if not removed, the scarecrow will be disposed of during showground clean up.

We Provide

• An upright post outside the Industrial Tent (no horizontal arm bar provided).
• An A4 poster of your scarecrow’s name.

Prizes

• Judges’ Choice - half of the entry fees, the champion rosette and the challenge cup.
• People’s Choice - the champion rosette and a box of chocolates. VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE ON THE DAY!!

How to Enter

Download a form from our website or pick up a copy of our free schedule from mid April and return the form and fee to Blackwood the Butchers, Kilmacolm by Friday 8th May.
